Man arrested in fatal Trumbull accident
The accident took place Sept. 6, 2011 in front of Police Headquarters.
The driver in a Sept. 6, 2011, two-car crash on Edison Road has been arrested since the other driver died from his injuries.
Albert Russo of Trumbull died on Oct. 3, 2011, said Deputy Police Chief Michael Harry.
The driver, Richard Grzegowski, Sylvan Street, Bridgeport, was initially issued an infraction for failure to obey a stop sign, police said. He is now charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.

He is free on a written promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on July 27, according to the state judicial branch website.
Police said the crash took place at Edison and Williams roads. Russo was driving north on Edison Road when Grzegowski was exiting Williams Road onto Edison Road.

Grzegowski then struck Russo, pushing his car across the road onto 171 Edison Road where it hit a tree then a telephone pole, police said.
"As a result of the death of Mr. Russo, an arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Grzegowski, charging him with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle. Mr. Grzegowski turned himself in on June 28, 2012," Harry said.
