Japanese Paper Marbling and Puppets in Trumbull

Here's what's happening July 31 in and around Trumbull: 

  • Suminagashi Workshop with Suzanne Uznanski.  Teens:  Back to Basics-Read Summer Activities!  3 p.m. – 4 p.m.  Librarian and art enthusiast Suzanne brings back her popular Japanese paper marbling workshop to the Trumbull Library. All materials provided.  Limited to 20, going into 6th to 12th grades.  Register, 203-452-5197
  • Sparky's Puppets Presents Tales of the Sea & Shore --- Back to Basics-Read!  11 - 11:45 a.m.  Help the pirate and his parrot solve clues that lead to the discovery of buried treasure...a chest full of stories that take place at the seaside.  Drop-in.  Child/caregiver a Trumbull resident.
  • The Barons perform at 7 p.m. on the Huntington Green, Shelton, 7 p.m.
  • The Shelton Community Lions Club will be at the "Concerts under the Stars" on the Huntington Green. They will be will be giving away restaurant certificates, selling bottled water and snacks, and raffle tickets for the annual raffle. They will also be collecting school supplies for less fortunate Shelton students. Everything is needed. 
  • Shelton Farmer's Market; Canal Street, Shelton; 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
