Public Invited to Interfaith Celebration at The Watermark

On Wednesday, November 13 The Watermark at 3030 Park will hold its annual Interfaith Celebration. The service will take place from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport/Fairfield town line.

This year’s Interfaith Celebration will discuss the upcoming holiday season, specifically focusing on Thanksgiving and prayer. Topics of discussion include gratitude, sharing, reflection setting aside quality time with family and friends. The service was coordinated by Lee Berentsen, a resident and member of The Watermark’s Interfaith Group, and will include an interactive discussion led by a panel of clergy, including Reverend Alida Ward of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield, Father Charles Allen of Fairfield University and Rabbi Suri Krieger, an Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies at Sacred Heart University.

“We encourage our residents and guests, no matter what religion, to attend this wonderful yearly event,” said Marlane Argianas, Resident Services Coordinator at The Watermark at 3030 Park. “The holidays can be a chaotic time for everyone, and this class offers people the chance to discuss and focus on what’s really important in life.”
