42nd Annual Trumbull Day Planned for June 28

Forty-two years ago the town was celebrating their 175th Anniversary and Trumbull Day began. Back in 1972 it was a fun-filled family day highlighting the best of what Trumbull has to offer. The tradition continues four decades later with lots of fun in store.

Trumbull Day will take place from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. in the fields behind Trumbull High School and Hillcrest Middle School, 72 Strobel Road, Trumbull, CT. Kids will love the carnival rides, games and the amazing fireworks display that will end the evening. A variety of live musical acts will perform, however no bands have yet been announced on their website.

Food vendors, a wine and beer tent, arts and crafts vendors, and a children’s entertainment area will be available. If you are interested in being a sponsor, vendor or entertainer for Trumbull Day 2014, please contact Barbara Whetstone bwhetstone@trumbull-ct.gov or 203-452-5005 for more information.

Follow Trumbull Day on Twitter https://twitter.com/TrumbullDay for up-to-date news.  Check their website often for additional event information as it becomes available. Click here.
