Helping the Leos Family

One of Trumbull's finest needs help.

Trumbull Police Officer and volunteer fire Lt. Jay Leos and his wife Dawn lost their daughter Kyleigh this summer to a life-long illness. A dinner and raffle at Vazzano's Four Seasons in Stratford on Friday, Oct. 11, is raising money for the family's expenses.

It's sponsored by the Trumbull Police Benevolent Association and the Long Hill Fire Co. No.1.

"We are reaching out to you, the community, to help support this wonderful family in their time of need. Please join us in celebrating the life of Kyleigh and help support one fantastic family," the groups said in a statement.

The restaurant is at 337 Kenyon St., Stratford, and the event runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are a $40 and there will be a buffet dinner and cash bar. Donations will also be accepted. Checks should be made out to "The Leos Family Trust."

Tickets are available at the Trumbull Police Department, 158 Edison Road. For more information, call Rob Capone, president of the Trumbull PBA, at 203-261-3665.
