The state Department of Transportation's milling and resurfacing project is ongoing on Route 111 in Trumbull from Merritt Parkway to Whitney Avenue.
"The project consists of milling and resurfacing 3.18 miles of Route 111 in Trumbull," according to the DOT.
The project ends Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2013 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
"Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 111 between the exit from southbound Route 15 and South Junction Broadway. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone," the DOT said.
The work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
