Civil War Reenactment

Trumbull's One Book One Town program will kick off with a Civil War reenactment from Company G. 14th CT Volunteer Infantry in coordination with the Trumbull Historical Society. This living history performance will include the set up of encampments, demonstrations of fire arms and the cooking of rations, military drills, and a presentation on equipment, uniforms and life in the military. 

Refreshments will be provided by the One Book One Town committee. 

The Trumbull Historical Society, located directly infront of the park, will be open from 2-5pm with Civil War memorabilia and exhibits on display.

Additional parking will be provided at the NIA located directly up the street from the park, at Trinity Episcopal Church, and Nothnagle Field behind the Nichols Fire Department. 

This event is free and will  happen rain or shine so dress warmly!
