It is the 44th Trumbull Youth Association production.

Go back to Trumbull High School this week.

School doesn't start until later this month, but the Trumbull Youth Association is staging "Thoroughly Modern Millie" in the auditorium starting Aug. 1.

This year's show is directed by Brett Boles, "an award-winning musical theater composer, lyricist and librettist who has worked not only in the community but also professionally for the past 10 years," according to the TYA.

David Harris is the music director and Lisa Minelli is the choreographer and the owner and director of the Lisa Minelli Dance Academy in Monroe. She worked on local productions including "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Sound of Music," "Mame," "My Fair Lady," "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

The show plays Aug. 1-3 at 8 p.m. and on Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16 and may be purchased in advance or at the door. Advance purchase is recommended, according to the TYA.
