CT's Sixth Apple Store Rumored for Westfield Trumbull Mall
Store would fill a gap for Mac users forced to travel to Danbury, New Haven or Stamford.
Blogs that track the construction of new Apple stores worldwide have indicated that Connecticut’s sixth store will be coming to Westfield Shopping Mall in Trumbull.
According to ifoAppleStore.com, the state’s sixth store would sit “almost in the center of a 30-mile triangle formed by the existing New Haven, Danbury and Stamford Apple stores.”
The site also points out that Apple has opened a new store in Connecticut “every two to three years since the chain began in 2001.”
Apple also has 14 job openings in Trumbull posted to their official site as of June 25.
Representatives from Westfield Trumbull Mall declined to confirm or deny the rumors. Representatives from Apple were not immediately available for comment.
