Grab & Go Kids Planner: Bingo and Bullying

This week, have some fun playing Bingo with the family, help the kids tap into their creative side with a special crafts session and listen to some important tips and strategies to cope with bullying.

This week, have some fun playing Bingo with the family, help the kids tap into their creative side with a special crafts session and listen to some important tips and strategies to cope with bullying.


FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Where/When:    on Apr. 6 at 5 p.m.
Why Go: This Bingo event takes place every Wednesday and includes 20 games with weekly jackpots as high as $1,600. Families welcome. Kids 12 and up can play.
Price: $2. Bingo card fee is seperate.


Where/When:   on April 5
Why Go: Kids in grade K-5 are invited to the library to pick up and decorate apaper cut-out “body” and entry form to show who you are at Children’s Desks or Elementary School offices. Please submit by Apr. 17  for a chance to win prizes.  Click here for rules and details.

Where/When:   on April 6 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Why Go: This session is for kids age 8-12 and offers a chance to create puppets and perform.
Pricing: Please register online.

Where/When:   on April 7 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: Come to the Trumbull Nature Center for "Eco-Art! Slinky Snake" and use metal bottle caps, corks and a length of yarn to create a fun & flexible pet.
Pricing: $10

Where/When:   on  April 7 at 7 p.m.
Why Go: Carl Bosch, educator, essayist, author and Fulbright Scholar will deliver a session on bullying and strategies to help parents.
Pricing: Free. Registration is required as space is limited.
