Silent Auction Items Needed
The auction benefits the Visiting Nurse Services' Medically Underserved and Hospice at Home™ programs.
Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut, a non-profit provider of healthcare at home and hospice care services for residents of 56 communities in Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties, is seeking silent auction items and theme gift baskets for its 12th Annual Clambake fundraiser on June 6th at Costa-Azzurra Restaurant on the water in Milford.
Once again, chairpersons for this year’s event are Karen Mercer of Trumbull and Patty Merola of Milford. All proceeds from the Clambake fundraising event benefit VNS’ Medically Underserved and Hospice at Home™ programs which provide compassionate home care and comfort for 2,000 in-need individuals and families who may not have other home health care options.
The event, set for 6:30-9:30 p.m., will feature a choice of entrees for dinner, beverages, including wine, as well as a silent auction and raffle. The agency is seeking donations and gift contributions for the silent auction. Contributors will be acknowledged in the event program book, social media and in employee newsletters for the agency’s 500 staff members.
