U.S. Marine Endorses Rutigliano

By Al Meraz

Rutigliano is the right choice for Trumbull

I am writing in support of David Rutigliano for State Representative for the 123rd district.  As an active duty military member with 18 years time in service, I have been stationed in several locations around the United States and recently moved to Trumbull with my wife and small children.

Since I have moved back to the area, I have been very impressed with our elected officials and how well they are running Trumbull.

I am very concerned with the direction of our state under the current leadership and we need David Rutigliano in Hartford to continue the good work done by our current State Representative, TR Rowe.

David is the right choice for Trumbull – he will work hard to keep our taxes low, reduce spending and represent us well in Hartford.

It is getting rather humourous. Any catholic priests thinking of endorsing my opponent? For a Marine to tell us that he is impressed with our public officials, I've got to wonder what exactly is going on at the Pentagon. Welcome to our community, Al. We hope to keep this area the best place in which to raise a family. But with the lack of leadership coming from the local Republicans, I will tell you it is not going to be an easy task. Would you mind, Al, telling us where you moved from? And thank you for your years of service to our nation. Would you tell us what your billet was, and rank in the service and whereabouts you were stationed? If you want to contact someone who has always been a strong advocate of our national defense and men in uniform, send me an email at l.bevilacqua@hotmail.com

And if you want to be apart of this new third party movement for the people sweeping the town, let me know. You wouldn't have to sell your soul to be with us. Hopefully the Testy Party will come to realise that the people are tired of business as usual. Who know's maybe we will bring suit to prevent them from using the name Republican, because honestly they are illegitimate. So lets enjoy the fall foliage as we await Bee-keepers for Rutigliano's letter of endorsement and then of course Roto-Rooter for Rutigliano's committee of dedicated volunteers

Look at Rutigliano....these poor people usually vote for such a candidate. someone who will do nothing for you! I bet if you took this marine fella and asked him why he was voting for Dave, he couldn't tell you. But there you have it, the main reason why the democracy and the nation is in decline. The people have failed to do their duty

Anyone of you peasants could have run! 75 signatures....the same year a democrat last won, 1975...only 75 electors on a petition would have added yor name to the ballot. It is not the corporations or the public officials or the shell shocked marines drinking themselves to hell....its the peoples fault! If we lose our republic, its because of you people!

sheep.....stupid, silly, self obsessed little sheep....that is what the people are becoming

Louie once more showing what a class act he is. Calling his constituents peasants. Way to respect the Trumbull voter. Anyone besides his immediate family who votes for him must have rocks for brains

Wow Louis - didn't know anything about you to make my decision to vote for you. However, your ugly posts here attacking a member of our military for taking advantage of his 1st Amendment right that he fought for, gives me good reason not to vote for you. He has the right to his opinion and doesn't have to justify his rank or where he lived to anyone especially you. Extremely offensive.

Hey Louis, Make sure you pick up your signs after the election is over. You know, the ones you placed all over public property, since no one in town wants to be seen with one of them in their yard. I hope you do the right thing and bring them to the transfer station to be recycled.
