Voter: Where Are the Democrats?

        "Election '13 - A Disgrace"

'Twas the month before the election,

(yes, there is an election this Nov.)

And all throughout the town;

Except for Andy Palo,

there isn't one Democrat sign around . . .

Democrat signs are posted invisibly,

on each corner with care,

In hopes that Trumbull voters

Will see, what isn't there . . .

With Ma DiNardo in her 'kerchief,

And Tim Herbst making tracks,

Town Democrats settled down,

For a premature, and very long,

 winter nap . . .

        *       *      *

What a brilliant concept,

this NON-campaign is;

Don't 'annoy' the town with campaign signs,

And voters will reward you

and vote for whomever -

the invisible, non-candidate is!!

It's risky, it's edgy,

it's also a disgrace . . .

That voters in Trumbull get

no alternative,

to seeing young Tim Herbst's face!

The Dem's disdain for the voter,

is shockingly clear;

No challenging of the status quo,

No debates about what's dear . . .

One has to ask WHY

Dems are giving Tim a pass?

Why are they way too comfortable,

just sitting on their political . . . grass??

What's in it for them,

To maintain status quo;

To keep GOP rule,

And voter information,

way too low . . . ?

Perhaps Democrats feel,

you'll reward their stealth strategy;

That when at the polls,

You'll vote for the names,

they didn't bother

to let you see . . .

I'm the last to say,

that the Herbst team

should stay;

But I have to admit,

at least they've shown effort,

And aren't throwing the election

away . . .

Think long and hard, Trumbull,

About what you really see;

Vote for Andy Palo!

A Democrat making an effort,

 on behalf of you and me.

It's time, oh it's time,

As we watch this political non-race;

It's time for a Third Party;

Trumbull Democrats are an

absolute disgrace.
