On Ash Wednesday, March 5th, the priests from the Episcopal
churches of Trumbull: Christ Church, Tashua; Grace Church, Main Street and
Trinity Episcopal Church, Nichols will be on the sidewalk near the bus stop
outside of Starbuck’s in Trumbull Center from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and apply ashes
on the foreheads and offer a quick prayer to any passer-by interested in
participating in the Christian tradition of Ash Wednesday.
The event, called "Ashes-to- Go," is an attempt to reach out to
people who may not have time to come into church for the traditional Ash
Wednesday service.
