Children's Crafting: Colonial Spinning and Weaving

Join us to learn how girls and women dressed in Colonial times!  A historically correct outfit (of many layers!) will be shown by (and on) the instructor, a Colonial re-enactor.  See actual artifacts and learn the hands-on process of Colonial fabric-making. Each participant will spin wool and weave a bookmark to take home.

Held at The Shelton Community Center - 41 Church St., Huntington, CT
Ages 7 and up
Cost: $15
