Soldier and Civilian Accounts of the Battle of Gettysburg

The battle of Gettysburg is one of the most written about topics in history. Americans continue to be fascinated with stories of the soldiers who fought in the infamous battle. But what was it like for the residents of Gettysburg? What if it had been the battle of Trumbull? Trumbull resident and historian Kevin Drake will help answer these questions as he recounts the personal experiences of those who lived in Gettysburg during the War.

The 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg will take place next July. Drake will also answer questions for those interested in visiting Gettysburg during the anniversary celebration.

Drake is the owner of Gettysburg Publishing LLC. Several books by Drake's company are available at our gift shop, and will be available at the lecture including his books, A Quiet Town No More, and Test You Knowlege on the Battle of Gettysburg."

This lecture is free, but donations are always appreciated!
