Joanna M. Leone, CT author announces Stamford Italian-American lecture

Joanna M. Leone, Trumbull CT author of Slices of Life Italian-American Stories, announces that she will be giving a heart-felt presentation on July 11th at the Stamford Senior Center on 888 Washington Blvd in Stamford at 4:15pm. Her presentation will take place during their Open House event.  The event is open to the public.  The Open House begins with a ribbon cutting at 3:00pm, at 3:30pm there will be Tai Chi, line dancing, art classes and computer lab. Leone will be speaking and presenting at 4!15. So come down to the Stamford Senior Center and enjoy the festivities and Leone will bring some of Italian cookies!! A lot of her friends will be there and remember, her presentation is for everyone, all ages welcome! Bring your family and friends! 

Leone's book contains collective memoirs about Italian-Americans from Connecticut and throughout the Northeast who shared their traditions, celebrations, holiday, love and travel stories. The book contains stories about all different age groups and shows the ways in which they keep their traditions alive. You might even know some of the Stamford Italian-Americans she has written about in her book.
