Community Corner

Scouts A Century of Honor

The Scouts have an event this coming Sunday November 10. We
will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the chartering between
the church and the Boy Scouts of America. We’d like to invite you and anyone
who may be interested in getting to know more about Scouting, and to spend a
few hours meeting various Packs, Troops, and Crews in the area. The event will
be sponsored by the LDS church, located at 30 Bonnie View Drive, in Trumbull.
We will have an open house from 3PM to 7PM. During the event, we will break
away to watch the multimedia presentation called “A Century of Honor”. With a
cast of hundreds of Scouts, the 85 minute performance will feature inspiring
original music and media, historical reenactments, and special guests. The open
house will continue after so we can all continue the discussions regarding
Scouting in our community.

This
event is open to the public, civic leaders, friends, Scouts and their families.
As a public service, we are asking those who attend to please bring a canned
food item to resupply local food banks for Thanksgiving.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
