Seussical the Musical

Come see 86 Newtown area students plus Broadway/TV star John Tartaglia in Seussical The Musical!

The vision of the 12.14 Foundation is to heal and strengthen children around the world, affected by tragedy, through the performing arts. A world-class Performing Arts Centre in Newtown will be the beacon of light that will serve as its epicenter. The inaugural production is Seussical: The Musical. It includes 86 children and young performers from the Newtown community (ages 5-18), along with 20 apprentices working with Broadway professionals in stage design, choreography, sound, lighting, and directing.

The reasons to attend are many.....

The quality of the show itself is incredible. The committed young performers are rehearsing eight hours a day, six days a week, for five weeks. They are being treated as professionals with the same expectations of excellence. Top level companies are providing lighting, sound, and stage rigging used on Broadway to make this a truly unique experience.

Most importantly, the performing arts is an interaction between the performers and the audience. We will be there in support of those children directly affected by the tragedy of 12/14. The experience will be as meaningful for us as it is for them.
