Summer of Hope

Most people breathe a sigh of relief when summertime rolls around.  At Bridgeport Rescue Mission we take a deep breath instead.  June, July and August can be the most difficult months for people who are homeless and for families already stretching their resources as far as they’ll go.  We must be prepared to give them help and hope.

While the needs of our community don’t drop off in the summer, our donations typically do.

Please don’t forget the Mission this summer...and the children who no longer have school lunch available to them.
