Spring at Stern Village
State mandated inspections of Stern Village are in progress. Findings will be incorporated into the capital plan being developed for the entire complex.
The residents and staff are all very busy welcoming spring. Based on state regulations, we are conducting inspections of every apartment in Stern Village. A standardized check list is used to evaluate each unit. We check the emergency equipment, alarms, smoke detectors, appliances, vents, faucets, toilets, doors, outlets, etc. Residents are notified prior to inspection. Any safety concerns or violations are discussed with the tenant and we work together to remediate a potentially dangerous situation. The results of these inspections will be incorporated into the capital plan being developed for the entire complex. Plans to install a new generator are underway and should be in place over the next few months.
