Today my blog is a little bit different. Rather than posting about my next lecture, author meet & greet or CT book signing, I would like to mention a simple way that you can help your community. You can really lift yourself up by helping others who are less fortunate. I hope you will join me in making a food donation to the Social Services Dept on Priscilla Place in Trumbull. They need peanut butter, jelly, pasta, tomato sauce, children's snacks, cereal, oatmeal, juice, canned carrots, paper towels, fruit cocktail, and tuna. Just a simple way to help people who really will appreciate the simplest act of kindness. Drop off donations Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm at Social Services inside of the Trumbull Senior Center on Priscilla Place. Something simple goes a long way.
