The Bijou Theatre to perform "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Downtown Bridgeport's Bijou Theatre to perform "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" in November.

Theatre Director Nancy Lessard and Producer Katie Langham have officially cast the Bijou Theatre’s production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  Starring in the musical is Trumbull’s own Lauren Chase as Linus, Juan Ayala as Charlie Brown, and Jacquelyn Sheehan & Sydney Sheehan as the Twins. The rest of the cast includes students from the local area including Zoe Hochberg, Kalle Meehan, Sean Duda, Adelaide Meny, Caitlin Brown, Edward Szalan, Jacqueline Vagnone, Julia Morin and Lucas Cafaro.

Rehearsals are set to begin September 16th and continue for 6 weeks through the end of October. All performances will be performed at the Bijou Theatre, located at 275 Fairfield Avenue in Downtown Bridgeport’s Bijou Square. Performance dates are set for November 1st and 2nd at 7:00 pm and November 3rd at 3:00 pm.

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 comedy with the lovable characters from Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts and revolves around an average day in the life of Charlie Brown and his friends. The musical features music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and Andrew Lippa and a book by Clark Gesner. Ticket prices will soon be posted on the theatre’s website www.thebijoutheatre.com
