To The Editor:

In 2009, I knocked on many of your doors when I ran for Trumbull’s Town Council. In 2010, I knocked on your doors in Trumbull, Monroe & Bridgeport in a bid for CT State Senate. Today, I write to all of you who shared my vision and principles, and to those of you who are looking for fiscal responsibility, as well as honor, and integrity in government. Today, I write and ask you to extend that same support that you offered me, to my friend David Rutigliano, who is running to represent us, as our Connecticut State Representative in the 123rd district in Trumbull.

It was in my bid for Connecticut State Senate that I came to not only know, and respect Dave Rutigliano (aka; Dave R), but to call him my friend. Dave is not only very knowledgeable of the issues concerning the people of Connecticut, he has realistic and pragmatic approaches to address our needs, lessen our burdens, and create jobs in Connecticut so our children will no longer have to leave their families, and their state, to find gainful employment in other parts of the country.

David Rutigliano is a Connecticut small businessman, he has created hundreds of jobs right here in Connecticut. He is a loving husband, and father of two sons, a community volunteer on the baseball field as well as in civic organizations. In addition, David Rutigliano is watching out for our tax dollars in Trumbull as an elected volunteer on the Board of Finance.

It is with great honor that I endorse David Rutigliano to be our State Representative, and encourage you to please vote for him on November 6th.

Sincerely,

David R. Pia

Trumbull Town Council, District 1
