The district covers all of Trumbull, a large section of Bridgeport and a portion of Monroe

Marilyn’s filing showed a very strong level of grassroots support with over 440 contributions representing over 70 % of money received coming from the communities included in the 22nd District.  Public enthusiasm for Moore’s candidacy evidenced by contributions from within the 22nd district has shown no signs of waning and many would-be contributors had to be informed that Moore’s campaign had already met the mandated criteria for public financing.

“I am absolutely thrilled to see such enthusiasm for, and interest in, reform exhibited by the great citizenry in the 22nd State Senate District. Now we move forward together. This is a partnership for change, and I am honored to partner with you.”- Marilyn Moore

“This is a very satisfying accomplishment. Now that the fundraising and all of the associated paperwork is behind us, we can become totally focused on the campaign itself. Get the message out, contact the voters, and implement a strategy that will lead us to victory in August and November.” – Bob Walsh, Treasurer, Moore for State Senate 2014
