JUST BLAME RAY!

'Ode to the GOP Leadership'

When day is done,

And you've had no fun,

And the sewers aren't flowing your way;

Stand up tall,

Give it your all, and . . .

Just Blame Ray.

The Forensic Audit proved nothing,

 (an expensive piece of stuffing)

With zero of substance to say;

Yet it opened the door,

To WPCA spending galore,

And now you'd better . . .

Just Blame Ray.

While Tighe&Bond is sitting pretty,

The rest of us are feeling . . . pity

for the excessive sewer costs, we're forced to pay;

You know what to do,

Cry, boo hoo! Boo hoo!  and . . .

Just Blame Ray.

When an extra engineer would do,

You hired a crew,

Creating financial dis-array;

The town's raising a stink,

(It's far worse than you think!)

Hurry up! and . . .

Just Blame Ray.

The town's in a tizzy,

Sewers are making us dizzy,

though it wasn't always that way . . .

Each flush costs far more,

Than ever before,

And guess what!!

We blame YOU -

Not Ray!

Folks, the moral is clear,

Whenever you hear

of an earthquake or war underway;

No matter what's wrong,

It won't take the G.O.P. long, to . . .

Just Blame Ray.
