2 Alleged Drug Dealers Arrested in Trumbull

Recent arrests by Trumbull Police.

An 18-year-old Trumbull man and a minor face drug-dealing charges.

Details of the juvenile's arrest were unavailable, but William Polito, who recently turned 18, of Oldfield Road, Trumbull, is charged with use of drug paraphernalia, illegale sale and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.

Police said Polito was sitting in a car parked on Jog Hill Road when officers stopped him for a broken tail light.

He had fragments of a green, leafy substance in his lap and there was a strong smell of marijuana in the car, police said. They also allegedly found $358 in $5-, $10- and $20-bills and a sandwich bag with a small amount of marijuana, in addition to a scale, empty baggies and rolling papers.

His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
