Christopher William Watts, 38, of Palmyra, Penn., is charged with drunken driving.
Police said Watts was found sleeping in his car outside of the McDonald's on Hawley Lane, Trumbull, and failed field sobriety tests. His blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.135 and 0.131, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.
He is charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and DUI, and his bond was set at $500.
In a separate incident, Robert M. Taylor, 59, of Brookside Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with DUI.
Police responded to an alarm at the McDonald's and found that Taylor had run over a sign. He was tested at 0.138 and 0.133, police said. An open bottle of vodka was reportedly found in the car.
His bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
