One adult and a "young person" were treated for "minor injuries" after their car rolled over several times on Route 25 northbound near exit 9 on Thursday, said Asst. Chief Rich Gregory, of the Trumbull Center Volunteer Fire Department.
The car came to rest on its four wheels but was "significantly damaged," Gregory said.
The youth was outside of the car and the driver was inside, but not trapped, when emergency workers arrived. Both of the injured were treated by Trumbull EMS and transported to a local hospital, Gregory said.
The road was closed while firefighters cleaned up fluid leaked from the car and State Police investigated. Their report is not yet available.
Gregory said two engines from Trumbull Center responded and one engine co. from Nichols Fire Department provided mutual aid.
