It encourages people and sends a message to do what you want WITHOUT repercussions. Idiot cops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe If I got out of the car and had a weapon its understandable but getting angry and shouting is totally UNDERSTANDABLE.

the story: Police said Silano had a machete strapped to his waist and was seen dumping brush on public property. He had been warned about the machete, police added. It's illegal to carry a knife with a blade of more than four inches long."
Needs a bit more info... like, when I'm carving the Thanksgiving Turkey can these guy bust in and arrest me for carrying a carving knife with a blade longer than 4 inches? And why 4" anyway... the 9/11 terrorists took down jet planes with box cutters... The law seems a bit silly. Now dumping brush that he had chopped down and leaving it in a public place? As long as it wasn't the town library who cares where he put biodegradable brush?

So she sped by you, almost hit you, and then she called the police?
Or did she speed by you, at which point you got angry and moved aggressively towards her (yelling) as she went by, and then she called the police? Either way, I hear you. I had to yell at someone driving extremely fast through our neighborhood on Sunday when we were out with kids trick o' treating. But your reply makes it sound like someone chased you down to run you over and then called the police on you, which doesn't add up.

Thanks for agreeing with me,Elliot.....There are kids here and I'm concerned for their safety. I just hope it doesn't take something bad to happen to make them do anything about it.

As long as you're in your house, and not walking around with strapped to your side. Apparently. I don't make the laws.

I was wondering if this guy had a liscense to carry a gun, can he carry a knife over 4 inches? if not, thats one law that needs a changin! I mean, it would be silly to carry a gun but only get busted for having a 5" blade...lol another point, if you were carrying a 4" blade in your pocket would it be considered a concealed weapon? What kind of wacky laws do we have here?
Craig Zac November 12, 2012 at 01:24 pm
Could the guy have had it on his side because he ws cutting brush? I mean, kinda makes sense...
