Trumbull Police Officers will serve the public and collect money for Special Olympics Connecticut from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the restaurant at 6540 Main St.
"Trumbull Police officers will don aprons and work alongside restaurant employees to take orders and serve meals to restaurant patrons for the evening, envelopes will be provided on all tables so that guests may leave a tip for the officer who served them," according to Special Olympics Connecticut.
"All tips will go to support Special Olympics Connecticut athletes in their year-round sports training and to further the Special Olympics mission of inspiring inclusion, respect and acceptance for individuals of all abilities."
