Trumbull Cops: Grocery Worker Nabbed, Car Kicked

Larcenies Charged

Samantha Cruz-Palarino, 22, of Bridgeport, is charged with sixth-degree larceny after she allegedly entered a dressing room in Macy's with two shirts and a wallet and concealed them.

The merchandise was valued at $104, police said.

Brenda Rivera, 32, of Bridgeport, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Rivera, a Stop & Shop employee, filled a cart with about $222 in merchandise and walked out without paying.

She was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Motor Vehicle Stop, Marijuana Cigarette

Two Bridgeport residents face charges after police stopped the car in which they were riding.

Clark Stephon Allen, 25, is charged with criminal violation of a protective order.

He was barred from having contact with the driver, Valerie Bermudez, police said. Allen's bond was set at $10,000.

Bermudez, 27, was issued a ticket for having a marijuana cigarette, police said.
