Trumbull Cops: 3 Face Drug Charges

The week in Trumbull arrests.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Trumbull Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Three Arrested in Two Alleged Drug Incidents

James Dennis Karcher, 21, of Walnut Street, Monroe, and Corey Schneider, 20, of Webb Circle, Monroe, are each charged with use of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics.

Schneider is also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police said the men's car was stopped at Daniels Farm Road and Firehouse Road for an alleged license plate violation. Schneider, the driver, had three syringes, police said.

In the other incident, Andrew Matthew Shea, 20, of Longview Road, Trumbull, was arrested after a police officer allegedly saw him smoking marijuana in his car next to the officer's cruiser.

Alleged Shoplifter Can't Shake Security

Joshua Alan Gray, 28, of Contact Drive, West Haven, is charged with fourth-degree larceny.

Police said he took clothing and cell phone accessories from Target in the Hawley Lane Mall and tried to walk out without paying.

Gray's bond was set at $1,000.

Three Get Larceny Charges

In separate incidents, three were charged with sixth-degree larceny. They are:

Michelle Lynn Kovalik, 27, of Castle Lane, Milford, $500 bond set; Tiffany Santos, 24, of Bird Street, Bridgeport, $1,000 bond set; and Hermino Morales, 37, of Park Avenue, Bridgeport, $500 bond set.
