Trumbull Cops Arrest 4

Recent arrests by Trumbull Police.

Larceny, Robbery

Nelson Perez, 42, of Lester Street, Ansonia, is charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Perez took two pairs of sunglasses from JCPenney, total value $29, and walked out without paying. When he left, security confronted him and struggled, according to police.

Perez's bond was set at $500.

DUI Charged

Robert Zaleski, 42, of Mayfield Drive, Trumbull is charged with driving under the influence.

Police said a suspicious vehicle was reported on Colony Avenue and the driver's blood-alcohol content was tested at 0.148 and 0.145, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.

He also failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Zaleski's bond was set at $250 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.

Also arrested were Sheyla DeMederios, 37, of Trumbull. She is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

He has a total of $1,500 bond.

Argiris Karagiannis, 37, of Main Street, Bridgeport, was charged with violation of a restraining order.

He is free on a promise to appear in court.
