The following arrest information was supplied by the Trumbull Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.
Two Robbed, but Not in Trumbull
Andrew Lawrence Shaykin, 23, of Abbey Road, Easton, and Lauren Nicole Weinstock, 21, of Settlers Farm Road, Monroe, are each charged with filing a false report.
Trumbull Police said the two reported they were robbed at gunpoint on Main Street in Trumbull near Edison Road. It was later determined they were robbed in Bridgeport trying to purchase narcotics, Trumbull police said.
Both were released on written promises to appear in court and their robbery report was forwarded to Bridgeport police.
Alleged Drug Dealer Nabbed
Stephen Coreano, 21, of Tungsten Circle, Trumbull is accused of selling marijuana from a car.
Police said a suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Tungsten Circle and Coreano had marijuana, a scale, cash and drug paraphernalia.
He is charged with possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
His bond was set at $7,500.
Wallet Theft Leads to Bigger Charges
A Bridgeport woman wanted for violation of probation is accused of a stealing a wallet and a ring from JCPenney in Westfield Trumbull Mall.
Phyllis Margery Braden, 52, of Fairfield Avenue, is charged with sixth-degree larceny, failure to appear in court and violation of probation.
The items she allegedly stole were valued at about $50, police said.
She was wanted for violation of probation out of State Police Troop K in Rockville.
Her bond was set at $15,000.
Another man nabbed for a small violation faces drug charges.
Jesse Rivera, 41, of Old Town Road, Bridgeport, is charged with possession of narcotics. Bridgeport police were seeking him for a third-degree assault warrant.
Police said he was driving and talking on his cell phone. When stopped, he was found with half an ounce of cocaine. His bond was set at $7,500.
