Trumbull Cops: Fugitive from Justice Shoplifted, Made Threats

Recent Trumbull Police arrests.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Trumbull Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Mississippi Fugitive Nabbed

Cynthia Yvette Anderson, 45, of Jane Street, Bridgeport, threatened to have Westfield Trumbull Security officers shot after she was caught shoplifting, police said.

Police charged Anderson with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree threatening and found she was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Mississippi.

Her bond was set at $100,000.

Door Kicked In

A Trumbull man was arrested after allegedly kicking in the door of his home.

Andrew White, 37, Candlewood Road, is charged with disorderly conduct. Police said he left his home and returned the next day to find the locks changed. He then kicked in a garage door, police said.

His bond was set at $1,000.

Shoplifting and DUIs

Skeeter Davis, 46, of Main Street, Hartford, is charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny after he allegedly stole from two stores in the Hawley Lane Mall.

The value of the items totaled $157.

His bond was set at $1,000.

Joy Joseph, 39, of Sheridan Street, Bridgeport, is charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, driving a suspended license, driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.

Police said Joseph had the wrong license plate on his vehicle and an officer stopped him. His Breathalyzer test results were 0.083 and 0.075. The legal limit is 0.08.

Carol Pisani, 66, of Pinewood Trail, Trumbull, was charged with driving under the influence after police said she was weaving in her car. She failed field sobriety tests, police said.
