Trumbull Cops: Larcenies and Underwear

Recent arrests by Trumbull police.

Underwear Under Where?

A Bridgeport man was allegedly caught sitting in his truck with no pants in Trumbull.

Allesandro Goncalves, 36, of Center Street, is charged with second-degree breach of the peace and public indecency.

Police said he told the officer he was changing clothes and didn't wear underwear, but underwear was found under his seat.

His bond was set at $1,500.

Lots of Larcenies Charged

A Danbury woman took items without paying for them and returned them for store credit, police said.

Kimthanh Thi Bui, 23, of Linron Drive, is charged with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree forgery. She allegedly exited Sephora in the Westfield Trumbull Mall with store credit. She was arrested by warrant after she was nabbed in West Hartford for the same actions, police said.

Her bond was set at $500.

Gerard V. Pugh, 25, of Oakdale Street, Bridgeport, is charged with third-degree larceny after taking part in stealing money from a Radio Shack Trade-In program, police said.

He took nearly $2,700, police said.

Pugh's bond was set at $1,500.

In another arrest, Mary Kaye Stewart, 30, of Avon Street, Stratford, is charged with fourth-degree larceny. Police said she entered Lord & Taylor and tried to take about $5,700 in merchandise. Her bond was set at $2,500.

Finally, Brinden L. Fernandes, 20, of Bretton Circle, Bridgeport, is charged with sixth-degree larceny after taking items from Best Buy in Trumbull and pawning them, police said.

His bond was set at $10,000.
