Anthony J. Wargo, 27, of Cross Hill Road, Monroe, is charged with second-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and breach of the peace.
Police said Wargo entered the Trumbull home of an acquaintance and took a cell phone and car keys.
He later returned to the home and returned the phone, police said. He was later arrested in Monroe.
His bond was set at $5,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
