Trumbull Cops: Man Stole House Key, Pawned Items

A 19-year-old Trumbull man is accused of stealing his neighbor’s house key and stealing thousands of dollars in items from the home.

Police said the man took watches, including a $3,000 Rolex; two iPads and an iPhone; coins and more watches from the home in February. He stole the key from a backpack left outside, according to police.

He then allegedly pawned them for drugs, police said.

After that, he allegedly went to his neighbor and confessed. The items were recovered.

He was arrested as he returned home recently and his bond was set at $35,000 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
