Trumbull Cops: Woman With Minor Crashed Car After Using Drugs

Recent arrests by Trumbull Police.

Alleged DUI Crash Hurt Minor

Elisha Anna Soboeiro, 27, of Paulina Place, Trumbull, is charged with not restraining a child four or younger, first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving. driving under the influence and risk of injury to a minor.

Police said Soboeiro drove erratically before hitting two cars in April 2012 with an unrestrained child inside. There were no serious injuries, police said. Testing after the crash reportedly revealed drugs.

Her bond was set at $2,500 for a court date of March 7.

Two Accused of Shoplifting

Alexander Rivera, 32, of Waterbury, is charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

Police arrested him at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. His bond was set at $2,500.

In a separate incident, Luis Alberto Pagan, 38, of Pembroke Street, Trumbull, is charged with using drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Pagan took cologne from Lord & Taylor, valued at $78. When searched, officers allegedly found a bag containing a white substance.

His bond was set at $5,000.
