An Ansonia woman allegedly played dress up at Kohl's.
Kathryn Maher Jordan, 55, of East Lane Drive, Ansonia, is charged with fourth-degree larceny, possession of a shoplifting device and interfering.
Police said she entered a dressing room with rings, earrings, jeans and shorts, and left some time later looking heavier and without carrying merchandise.
She was stopped and found wearing the merchandise and with the jewelry in her handbag, police said. The items were worth a total of about $1,200, police said.
Her bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
