A Trumbull man was Tasered and arrested after he allegedly assaulted a police officer Sunday at the Westport Fine Arts Festival.

An officer observed a male who was "visibly intoxicated" and acting belligerent toward a food vendor at the festival in Parker Harding Plaza, according to the arrest report.

Police told the man he would have to leave the art show based on his behavior, but the suspect reportedly refused to leave and became aggressive toward the officers, who attempted to arrest him.
