Trumbull Man in Alleged Gun-Drug Trade Due in Court March 25

The Connecticut State Police Gang Unit arrested him March 15.

A Trumbull man must enter a plea to charges he traded guns for drugs.

Gregg Cavalier, 58, of Plumb Street, Trumbull, is charged with two counts each of illegal transfer of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit and a single count of firearms trafficking.

According to the Connecticut Post newspaper, police said he admitted to trading guns for drugs in Bridgeport.

Cavalier is free on $100,000 bond for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
