Trumbull Police Arrest 2 in Home Thefts

The week's arrests in Trumbull.

The following arrest information was supplied by the . It does not indicate convictions. All suspects are expected to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.

Jewelry Theft Reported

Shane Andrew Veras, 18, of Shelton Road, Trumbull, is charged with third-degree larceny after he allegedly took jewelry valued at $3,000 from a Trumbull home.

Police said another person pawned the jewelry. When confronted, Veras confessed, police said.

He is free on a written promise to appear in court.

Meanwhile, the Connecticut Post has reported that Olga Brioso, 37, of Stoeher Place, Bridgeport, is accused of taking linens, clothing, jewelry, a coin collection, a bottle of champagne and Persian Rug from a Plumb Creek Road home she cleaned in Trumbull. Some of the items were found in her car, the Post reported. The total value was $1,000, according to the Post.

She is free on $2,500 bond, according to the state's Judicial Branch Website.

Unlicensed Driving Charged

Judith Ann Miller, 56, of Cottage Street, Trumbull, is charged with engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with police, driving without a license and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Police said Miller refused to stop for a motor vehicle violation but finally pulled over.

Her bond was set at $5,000.

Alleged Attempted Robbery

Patrick Ryan Lamnitzer, 18, of Peaceful Valley, Trumbull, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, attempted third-degree robbery, third-degree assault and assaulting a victim older than 60.

His bond was set at $2,500.

Another person, Conor William Wynne, of Undercliff Road, Trumbull, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

His bond was unavailable.

Fights Charged

Joseph Marcellino, 25, of Wakelee Avenue, Stratford, is charged with third-degree assault from a March incident.

Police said he and his girlfriend were walking out of Marisa's Ristorante when a man approached them and a dispute ensued. Marcellino then punched the man, police said.

Matthew Peter Hreschak, 32, of Flint Street, Trumbull, is charged with possession of narcotics, fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police said he pushed a woman during an argument at home.

His bond was unavailable.
