Trumbull Police: Man groped 3 women

Mom Charged for Alleged Teen Alcohol Party

Linda Lizotte of Old Dike Road, Trumbull, was issued a misdemeanor summons charging her with 16 counts of permitting minors to possess alcohol, police said.

Police received a tip about a party at Lizotte's home, police said, according to the Connecticut Post newspaper. Her next court date is Aug. 10.

A Bridgeport man is accused of grabbing three women at the Westfield Trumbull Mall.

Tyinell Serrano, 34, of Wood Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault.

Police said Serrano groped the breasts or buttocks of three women before leaving the mall. He later returned as police were searching for him. The women identified him, police said.

His bond was set at $15,000.

Shoplifting Arrests

Four people are charged with trying to steal from Kohl's in Trumbull.

Tysheema Franklin, 19, of Gregory Circle, Bridgeport; Deja Pue, 18, of Trumbull Avenue Bridgeport; Brittany Wheeler, 18, of Trumbull Avenue, Bridgeport; and Amber Jennings, 17, of Coleman Street, Bridgeport; are each charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Police said the four were spotting placing merchandise into bags and were detained as they exited the store without paying.

All but Jennings were held in lieu of $500 bond each. Jennings was released on a written promise to appear in court.

In a separate incident, Eddie Manuel Ferra, 18, of Barnum Avenue, Bridgeport, is accused of placing merchandise into bags at Zumiez in the Trumbull Mall. When he was stopped, police found merchandise from another store, according to reports. Officers are also seeking an unidentified accomplice.

Ferra is charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny.

His bond was set at $500.

DUI and Disorderly

Nicholas Adams, 19, of Whitney Avenue, Trumbull, is accused of choking his father.

He is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation.

Police said his father went to give him some water when Adams became irate and choked him. The man was not unjured.

Adams was held in lieu of $1,000 bond.

Separately, Joseph Acosta, 22, of Elmstead Road, Trumbull, is charged with driving under the influence. Police said he was involved in a T-bone accident on White Plains Road near Daniels Farm Road.

He failed field sobriety tests and blew a Breathalyzer test result of 0.18, more than twice the legal limit, police said.

Finally, a Stamford man was arrested after he allegedly went to the home of a former female acquaintance.

Nathaniel Thomas Barr, 55, is charged with violation of a protective order. His bond was set at $10,000.
