Wallingford Radio Shack Robbed At Gunpoint

Police said three masked people robbed the electronics store late Thursday evening and made off with iPhones and other products. This crime was similar to two recent Radio Shack robberies in Connecticut.

Three people wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts robbed the Wallingford Radio Shack at gunpoint Thursday. 

The robbery was reporeted at 8:45 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the 850 North Colony Road store, police said. The suspects took a large amount of Apple iPhones and other electronic items and fled the scene in a gray vehicle.

This incident is similar to other Radio Shack armed robberies that occurred in East Haven, Hamden and Trumbull, police said.

Wallingford Police Department Detective Division is investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Sergeant John Ventura at 203-294-2848.
