2 Sets of Hearings This Week to Cover Nichols Sewers, Ed Budget

There are three Water Pollution Control Hearings and two Board of Education hearings.

The Trumbull Water Pollution Control Authority will discuss Nichols sewer assessments and the Board of Education will tackle the budget this week.

The three WPCA special sessions will be Dec. 4 and 5, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and another Thursday (Dec. 6) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday's meeting will be in Town Hall; the next at Trumbull High School; and the last at Booth Hill School.

The Board of Education will meet twice, Dec. 4 and Dec. 6, at the Long Hill Administration Building, starting at 6:30 p.m. both times.

The board will discuss the 2013-2014 budget proposal.

This current education budget approved earlier this year is $91,353,624, an increase of 4.47 percent over last year, according to the document listed on the town's Website.
