Don't Forget Your Trumbull Parking Sticker

News from various press releases.

The Trumbull Park Sticker displayed below is the ONLY sticker that is ‘valid’ through 2012.  All other stickers (i.e. the round ones of any color from any previous year) are no longer valid.   Please note that current stickers which state “Expires 2010” will be good throughout this 2012 season.

If a town resident (or non-resident) does not have the rectangular 2010 sticker on their vehicle they are subject to receiving a  $25 ticket.

Trumbull Vehicle Park Stickers which permit use of Town parks are available for pick-up by Trumbull residents in the Town Hall Annex (5892 Main Street) Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motor vehicle registrations must be presented at time of sticker issuance to prove Trumbull residence.

Please remember to remove your old decal from any vehicle you no longer own and return the decal to the Trumbull Recreation Department.

Vehicle stickers limit the use of park facilities to Trumbull residents and taxpayers and are issued on private passenger, combination and camper plate vehicles. Commercial vehicles are excluded from our parks by ordinance.

The stickers are valid for a two-year period, and are issued for use on private passenger, combination, and camper plate vehicles.  Please note that current stickers which state “Expires 2010” will still be good throughout this 2012 season.

Use of swimming areas will continue to require display of a driver's license identification with a Trumbull address. Contact the Recreation Department at (203) 452-5060 with any questions, and to ask about obtaining park stickers for child-care providers and guests, and permits for use of local parks for picnics.

This is a pain in the butt for sure. I recieved a warning notice at Twin Brooks and they intend to ticket people $25 in the future. There is a way to get it remotely. I think you have to mail in a copy of your registration. This is from the Town website... A Sticker that reads: " Expires June 30, 2010" is good for the 2012 Season? Are these stickers that expensive that they can't print current ones? Mail them to us in the same envelope that our motor vehicle tax bills come in. (ripoff). Besides the Park, the guy at the dump looks for the sticker on the windshield also.
