Democrat Martha Jankovic Mark, First Selectman Candidate, announced a "50-day push" on Sept. 16 and hired a former U.S. senatorial aide as her campaign manager.

Election Day is Nov. 5.

Mark chose Manager Francesca Capodilupo, who comes to Trumbull "with a history of success including United States Senator Amy Klobuchar’s (D, MN) 2012 re-election campaign."

"The Jankovic-Mark campaign is in full swing and has aggressive plans to make a highly visible all out effort which will include conversations with the community, its leaders and its voters," according to a statement.

“We’re moving forward at a fast pace—voters will have their voice heard to a degree never seen before in Trumbull. Martha is the right candidate for the job. Her compassion and understanding of the issues is unrivaled. It’s what makes her unique, it’s what makes her the right choice for Trumbull,” said Capodilupo.

Jankovic-Mark added, “I am so happy to welcome Francesca back to her home state and to have her with me as I continue to talk to residents about their concerns for Trumbull, from issues regarding unnecessary spending, misplaced priorities and the need to return to fair and balanced government.”

Must be election time. Mark Smith has crawled out of his hole to insult the Democratic candidate for FS. Mark, time to run away. Someone is typing on a computer. And "Steve". Mamma Mia, you have to stick your two cents in two. Yes, we know who you are!!

"Steve", let me say that all the mothers in Trumbull would first select your comments to read first before they looked at mine.
