Huntington Turnpike, Booth Hill Road and Shelton Road will be repaved over the next 60 days, First Selectman Tim Herbst said.
The following is the schedule:
- Huntington Turnpike from Willow Brook Road to McDonald Road;
- Booth Hill Road from Unity Road to Strobel Road;
- Shelton Road from the Shelton line to about Cemetery Drive.
On Booth Hill Road, for the week of Sept. 10, paving and curbing installation is scheduled; Sept. 17, milling and paving; and Sept. 24, completion of paving.
On Shelton Road, about Sept. 12, roadway reconstruction is set to begin. In October and November, paving will continue.
Herbst urged residents to plan alternative routes but said the town will try to keep backups to a minimum.
